Q. Do the vehicles have air conditioning and stereo?
A. Yes, the series 72 (Bronze/Mauve), the Rolls-Royce (Gold) and the Stretch (White) has A/C. Unfortunately the sedan (Maroon) and limousine (Black) are all original vehicles built prior to widely available automatic transmissions, factory white painted vehicles, stereo radios and rear A/C. We do provide portable electric fans in all of our Cadillacs.
Note: Vintage Limousine of Hudson Valley, LLC prides ourselves on a truly authentic vintage experience. Our early Cadillacs are original, non-modified or glamorized vehicles, as they were at time of manufacture. The exception is the series 72 (Bronze/Mauve) which has been modernized.
Q. Do you travel outside the Hudson Valley area?
A. Yes. However, our listed prices are for the Greater Hudson Valley Area, Pike County PA and Northern NJ. Driving time to and from destination is part of the hourly rates. Please contact us if your destination is outside our area of service to make arrangements.
Q. Can we drink Wine/Champagne & other beverages in the vehicle?
A. Yes, you are welcome to bring your own beverages.
Note: All vehicles are non-smoking.
Q. Will there be opportunities for photographs?
A. Of course, the hours you book the vehicle is your time and we will accommodate all requests to give our guests an opportunity to enjoy the vehicle. Our non-white vehicles show exceptionally well in both B&W and color photography. You can also book the photography only session to ensure the photographic opportunities.
Q. Do we have to go straight to our destination?
A. If time allows, we will be happy to drive around and give you an opportunity to enjoy the car, at your request, before reaching your final destination.
Q. How can I expect the driver to be dressed?
A. We keep to period attire with proper hat, black suit, white shirt, black tie and gloves. Tuxedos and bow ties were not chauffeur attire in the 1930s and 40s.
Q. What happens if the certain vehicle I choose is unavailable on the day of my event?
A. We will make every effort to substitute a vehicle to your approval.
Q. What happens if we have to move or cancel our reservation?
A. Your 50% deposit is non-refundable if you cancel. If you must cancel, and have paid in full, we can reschedule as long as the date and time you request is available. If you cancel entirely and you have paid in full you will be refunded the amount over your 50% deposit. Please see our Contract for further details.
Q. Do you add gratuity to your rates?
A. No, a gratuity is appreciated for exceptional service.
Q. What days of the week are you available?
A. We are available 7 days a week on a first-come first-serve basis.
Q. What if I require additional cars, limos, bus/vans for my event, other than vintage vehicles?
A. We will be happy to assist our clients find additional transportation services through our local National Limousine Association member partners.
Q. How far in advance do we need to reserve?
A. We recommend calling to reserve the car as soon as your date and time is finalized. For weddings especially, many of our customers book several months in advance.
